Erica, Anna-Marie, and Me -- don't I look like crap.
Me, Jaime, and Erica -- my girls!
This is basically who I am today, when I want to feel pretty.
More pics to follow.. just really don't have time to upload everything.

| Dear Board of Education:
It has come across my attention that students have been receiving at least a day off every single month, since we have started school and will continue at least having one day off per month for the remainder of the school year.
I am concerned about the welfare of my fellow faculty members and myself. Every single day there have not been students in the classroom, the teachers are having to remain at school.. remaining in meetings all day that do not accomplish a thing. Also, the meetings contain information that we have been talking about for over 2 years now.
I am concerned that my learning is not being enhanced because of the lack of learning taking place among the teacher aspect. I believe that a teacher should be entitled to a break, just as students do. I believe a teacher that has had rest and relaxation is a more efficient teacher becasue they are not highly stressed out. Also, it keeps a positive attitude in the classroom.
Please consider giving the teachers a break, as well as the students. Let's keep our students on the right track for a high quality education.
Sincerely,
A concerned teacher
*Now, if only I could really give this to the Board of Education. | | |
